Above all, choose when you want to eat something. Sounds very bourgeois, because we all want to be spontaneous, but some ingredients for dishes must be very fresh, otherwise they spoil. Mushrooms, for example, should be eaten immediately. Their proteins can easily spoil. Other ingredients, such as good pumpkin, are good storage products and can wait a few days.

[p>In addition, you should think carefully about the quantities you want to cook. Many recipes are often intended for 4 - 6 people. So you either cook in half quantities or you eat the other portion the next day for lunch or as a starter for the next evening. Et voilá, there is nothing left over.

Since the beginning of this year we have made it our business to determine in advance what we want to eat during the week. This has led to the fact that you have to deal intensively with recipes for 1 - 2 weeks. For us, recipes according to Yotam Ottolenghi were quite suitable.
