This is a plastic-free reusable cup made from 100% natural materials. It is made of industrially robust ceramic from Bavaria and a cork lid from Portugal, so that the warm coffee doesn't spill over your hand when you're out and about. The cork also has the advantage that it is naturally antibacterial. Although it looks very handy, it can hold 200 ml. The Clean Ocean Project developed it together with an Ecosign student as part of a competition. What you really want to put in it is up to you: whether it's hot chocolate, cappuccino, tea, golden milk, soup, or solid unpackaged food or spices. It is a faithful companion that can also be put in the dishwasher and is wonderfully stackable. Should it break, we have spare parts available.

Clean Ocean Projekt

Im Jahr 2000 trafen sich auf Fuerteventura ein paar Freunde und säuberten einen Strand. Wim Geirnaert´s Idee, eine Bewegung zu schaffen, die sich für den Schutz der Strände und Meere einsetzt, war geboren. Seitdem hat das Clean Ocean Project auf der Insel viele Projekte ins Leben gerufen, in Schulklassen wird den Kindern gezeit, warum Plastik ein großes Problem für das Meer und die Tiere ist. Supermärkte verzichten jetzt nach und nach auf Plastiktüten, Café`s und Restaurants die bei der Aktion „Stop Sucking“ mitmachen, bieten keine Plastikstrohhalme mehr an und dank „Playa Pallet“ kann jetzt jeder zu jeder Zeit am Strand Müll sammeln und so seinen Teil dazu beitragen. Nachdem wir Wim und das Clean Ocean Project kennen gelernt und die ersten gemeinsamen Projekte auf die Beine gestellt hatten, war uns klar, das es perfekt zu uns und zu unserem Unwaste-Laden passt.
